About
Sushi Yasuda was founded in 1999 by chef Naomichi Yasuda, whose warm rice-temperature philosophy and Edomae style became influential across the New York sushi scene. Yasuda returned to Japan in 2013, and the restaurant has continued under Japanese kitchen leadership on East 43rd Street. It remains one of the city's most reliable high-quality omakase and a la carte sushi counters.
