About
Chef Yasuhiro Endo grew up in Tokyo, worked at Tsukiji Market, and trained at Sushi Nakazawa in DC and New York — a restaurant carrying the direct lineage of Jiro Ono, the greatest sushi master in recorded history. Additional apprenticeships at Midori Sushi and Kiyoyasu-tei in Tokyo rounded out an extraordinary Japanese education before Endo brought it all to Austin's West Campus in 2024. The restaurant's half-counter, half-jazz-lounge design breaks every omakase convention — vinyl records play, cocktails flow, and Chef Endo may pick up an electric guitar at the end of service. A weekday 16-course omakase at $99 (Tue-Thu) is already the best-value serious omakase in Austin. Weekend courses run 20 courses.
