About
Okonomi // YUJI Ramen at 150 Ainslie St was founded by Yuji Haraguchi, who originally worked in Japanese wholesale fish before launching Yuji Ramen in 2012. By day the space serves a Japanese ichiju-sansai breakfast (one soup, three sides); by evening it becomes YUJI Ramen's mazemen-focused dinner counter. Forbes (2019) profiled Haraguchi as the owner of 'a small empire of Japanese restaurants in Brooklyn, Tokyo, and Kyoto.'
Why it's on Washoku Guide
- Chef Yuji Haraguchi — Forbes-profiled Japanese chef-owner
