About
Hiroki Yoshiyuki trained at Barcelona's legendary Tempura-ya before opening Ramen-ya Hiro in September 2012 on Carrer de Girona, bringing the flavours of his native Hiroshima to the Eixample. He rolls and cuts his noodles by hand every day, and the broths — shoyu, miso, and tonkotsu — are simmered for hours from scratch. The tiny dining room seats barely thirty guests, and queues form well before the 7:30 pm opening. It remains one of the very few Japanese-owned, no-compromise ramen bars in Spain.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
  • Noodles hand-rolled daily by a Hiroshima-born master
  • Long-simmered broths with zero shortcuts
  • One of Barcelona's most sought-after dinner reservations
  • Authentic single-owner operation with no franchise dilution
