About
Ichiran Times Square opened in 2019 at 152 West 49th Street, following the Brooklyn original (2016) as Ichiran Inc.'s Manhattan beachhead. Founded by CEO Manabu Yoshitomi in Fukuoka, Ichiran's defining feature is the solo booth system — each diner sits in a private cubicle, orders via form, and receives ramen through a bamboo curtain, allowing undistracted focus on the bowl. The Fukuoka-style tonkotsu broth is made from a proprietary recipe.
