About
Yasu opened in 2014 and was among the first restaurants in Toronto to serve a strict sushi-only omakase. Chef-owner Yasuhisa Ouchi, trained in Japan, runs the 10-seat counter through a set 18-course Edomae progression using house-aged fish and hand-pressed shari. Now a defining city mainstay.
