About
Situated within the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre — the spiritual home of Toronto's Japanese-Canadian community — Nakamori @ JCCC offers a uniquely meaningful dining context for Japanese cuisine in the city. Chef-owner Nobu Nakamori, who trained at the historic Mikado Restaurant and built his reputation at the main Eglinton East location, brings the same commitment to seasonal Japanese cooking to this secondary venue. Open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM, it serves a broad creative Japanese menu that spans sushi and sashimi, wagyu carpaccio, tempura, karaage, and rice burgers. Omakase dinners are available upon request, making it one of the more accessible omakase options in the GTA's north end.
