About
Shiro Kashiba founded this Belltown landmark in 1994, establishing it as one of Seattle's earliest and most respected Edomae sushi restaurants. He sold it in 2014 to head chef Yoshi Yokoyama, who leads a team that Seattle Magazine notes were all 'born, trained, or worked in Japan.' The menu spans nigiri, omakase, and a la carte selections drawn from Pacific Northwest and imported Japanese seafood. Open seven days a week, Shiro's has remained one of the most consistent and traditionally grounded sushi experiences in the city for over three decades.
