The Dome opened in late 2025 as the latest creation of Shanghai's The Fellas Group (Goodfellas, The Fellas Terrace, The Captain's), in collaboration with Chef Terada-san, known from Chez Bulizo, Nobu Tokyo, and Kappo Yu. The restaurant occupies the fifth floor of the corner building at 1 Yan'an Dong Lu and offers an eight-seat omakase counter with a daily menu at 988 RMB, no service charge — an unusually accessible price point for a Bund address. Terada-san is known for his performance omakase: theatrical, playful, and executed with exceptional technical precision. The Samurai Room on the same floor hosts weekly ladies' nights and private events.
