Sake Bar Decibel opened in 1993 as Bon Yagi's first establishment and the first dedicated sake bar in New York City. Located in a basement on East 9th Street, the bar stocks over 100 sake varieties and serves Japanese izakaya small plates in a low-lit, underground atmosphere. Over 30 years later it remains one of the city's most atmospheric Japanese drinking establishments.
