About
Hibino LIC opened in 2014 at 10-70 Jackson Ave as an extension of the original Cobble Hill restaurant founded by Japanese co-owners Hirohisa Hayashi and Masaru Fukuda. Chef Takeo Koyanagi leads the LIC kitchen, which produces fresh housemade tofu daily and offers a Kyoto-inspired obanzai menu alongside sushi. Village Voice noted the LIC location as an 'abzweigung' (branch) of a much-loved neighborhood Japanese restaurant.
