About
In the winter of 2015, Nobuhisa Takahashi — a former Nobu chef — and his wife Yuko quietly opened Takahashi in an unassuming South Wimbledon shopfront. The eight-seat restaurant offers a single nightly sitting of maki, sashimi, tempura, and nigiri, rooted in classical Japanese kaiseki principles and Takahashi's Japanese training. Over a decade it has become one of London's most ardently praised hidden gems, consistently lauded in Harden's Top 100 for its peerless omakase at prices significantly below central London rivals. Reservations are accepted only via the restaurant's website form.
