Opened in December 2024, TakaHisa Downtown extends the acclaimed Bluewaters flagship's philosophy into the heart of Business Bay with panoramic Burj Khalifa views. The same executive chef duo operates both locations: Chef Takashi Namekata handles Edomae sushi sourced from Toyosu Market five times weekly, while Chef Hisao Ueda oversees premium A5 Wagyu preparation, including Ozaki, Kobe, and Matsusaka beef at BMS 12. Unlike its sibling venue, TakaHisa Downtown opens from 08:00, offering a rare Japanese breakfast service alongside the full omakase lunch and dinner programme. The restaurant operates reservation-only, with a smart-elegant dress code from 18:00, and shares the Michelin, Gault & Millau 3 Toques, and MENA 50 Best recognition of the parent brand.
