About
Bentoya Kitchen opened on Sheikh Zayed Road in 1997, making it one of the UAE's first authentic Japanese casual dining pioneers. Chef-owner Shinji Taniuchi, a native of Sapporo, Hokkaido, was designated a Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador by the Japanese government and is JETRO 'Taste of Japan' verified. The menu spans housemade ramen (including the signature tantanmen and asari miso ramen), fresh sushi and sashimi, gyoza, donburi, tempura, and bento boxes — all prepared with hand-selected seafood from the fish market and housemade noodles. With multiple branches across Dubai (Sheikh Zayed Road, Motor City, Jafza, Mirdiff) and nearly three decades of operation, Bentoya remains synonymous with affordable, honest Japanese food in the UAE.
Neighborhood & visiting
