About
SAN — Japanese for the number three — opened in November 2019 and is run by Ishikawa-born friends Tomoya Sakashita and Takeshi Seto, who have lived in Berlin since 2008 and worked in various sushi and noodle restaurants. The kitchen relies on select ingredients and traditional Japanese technique: house-blended soy sauce, perfectly seasoned sushi rice, and hand-sourced fish. Sake recommendations from the chefs complete the experience. Reservations are strongly advised.
