About

Niko Niko Ramen — Japanese for 'smile' — opened in 2017 as Hako Ramen am Boxi and was renamed on 1 January 2023 with no change to the recipes or team. Manager Ribeka Sakamoto continues the Japanese culinary tradition: all noodle soups are prepared without artificial flavor enhancers, and since March 2025 with fully housemade noodles. The restaurant offers live ramen performances and an easygoing, honest atmosphere right on the lively Boxhagener Platz.
