Chef Hiroshi Sakai from Sapporo, Hokkaido, spent years as head chef at Grand Hotel Wien's Unkai, where he earned Gault&Millau 2 toques. His eponymous restaurant on Florianigasse represents a more personal and intimate expression of his cooking: kaiseki-influenced seasonal menus, authentic Sapporo-style ramen, and carefully crafted bento boxes. The restaurant bears his family name, underlining the deeply personal culinary vision behind every dish. With only four evenings of service per week, securing a reservation is both a challenge and a privilege.
