About
Since 2013, Chef Mori Yoshida has brought a uniquely Japanese sensibility to Paris's 7th arrondissement. A graduate of Japan's Nippon Kashi Senmon Gakko and former collaborator of Philippe Conticini, Yoshida won the title of Best Professional Pastry Chef on M6's Le Meilleur Pâtissier in 2018. His boutique on avenue de Breteuil offers elevated takes on French classics — Paris-Brest with black sesame, matcha tarts, Japanese strawberry rolls — all defined by lighter textures, balanced sweetness, and impeccable technique. Beyond pastries, the shop carries chocolates, viennoiseries, and seasonal cakes.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
  • The seasonal pastries fuse French tradition and Japanese technique in ways that few patisseries in Paris can match.
  • Chef Yoshida's iconic Mont-Blanc and matcha tart have become benchmarks for Franco-Japanese pastry in Europe.
  • Open Wednesday through Sunday, making it one of the few high-end patisseries accessible on weekends in the 7th.
  • Perfectly located near the Eiffel Tower — the ideal stop for a refined sweet break.

No dining seating — take-away only. Products are sold from €5. Stock varies seasonally and sells out early on weekends.
