Toni's Sushi Bar opened in 1987 as the first Japanese restaurant in Miami Beach, founded by Hiromi 'Toni' Takarada, who immigrated from Japan to Florida. Over nearly four decades, the Takarada family has woven their restaurant into the culinary fabric of Miami in the historic Art Deco district of South Beach. Today the founder's daughter, Yoko Takarada, stewards the family legacy, preserving the authentically Japanese kitchen and an unwavering commitment to quality and consistency.
