About
Azabu Miami Beach opened in 2018 inside the Stanton Hotel South Beach as the U.S. outpost of Plan Do See, a Tokyo-based hospitality group with decades of experience running luxury restaurants across Japan. Chef Atsushi Okawara leads the kitchen and the hidden omakase counter known as The Den, which earned a Michelin star in both 2022 and 2023 and is today listed as Michelin Selected. Tokyo-trained chefs serve classic edomae sushi in an intimate speakeasy setting, making this one of Miami's most exclusive dining destinations.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
- The Den — Miami's most secretive omakase experience, accessed through a concealed door
- Plan Do See — Tokyo hospitality group as guarantor of Japanese authenticity
- Michelin Selected — formerly 1 Michelin Star (2022–2023)
- Edomae sushi by Tokyo-trained masters in South of Fifth
The Den is the exclusive omakase counter within Azabu Miami Beach — both are treated as a single listing.
