About
Hidden on a quiet Vesterbro street, Bento Copenhagen is among Denmark's most authentically Japanese restaurants, operated entirely by the Japanese Uki family. Daisuke Uki, who also co-founded Ramen to Bíiru with Mikkeller, runs this intimate venue where the kitchen has stayed in family hands across two generations. The menu centres on lovingly prepared bento boxes, sushi crafted at the counter, and classic Japanese dishes from tonkatsu to teriyaki. With a maximum of ten guests per evening, the experience feels closer to a private home dinner than a restaurant. Reservations are strongly recommended through DinnerBooking.
