Since 2015, Kuma Kenta has operated the Gastronomy & Design Atelier Kumami in the historic Altstadt of Köpenick. The Kyoto-born chef and designer runs the restaurant entirely solo — he cooks, serves, and designs the space himself. The daily omakase menu runs Friday through Sunday from 19:00 and is offered by email reservation only. Reservations can be made up to two months in advance. Kuma Kenta also designed the interior of ichi いち in Prenzlauer Berg.
