About
Takaaki Sano was one of the first Japanese chefs to bring sushi to Munich: as early as 1996 he stood behind the counter of the small restaurant Minami on Josephspitalstraße, which he later redeveloped with SUSHIYA founder Alexander Reinelt into Sushi Sano. Nudelhaus Sano on Zweibrückenstraße — occupying the former Japanese restaurant Sharaku — is the noodle heart of this family-run business, offering ramen, udon, soba, and curries at accessible prices. Since the passing of Takaaki Sano, his Munich-raised, half-Japanese children have carried on his legacy, preserving their father's guiding philosophy: honest Japanese quality at fair prices.
