About
Yoko Suzuki from Tokyo first opened her Japanese grocery on Rumfordstraße back in 2002, making it the go-to destination for the Japanese community in Munich for many years. In 2019 she expanded the shop to include a small bistro, which now serves authentic home-style cooking: donburi (oyako don, teriyaki don, tofu don), udon and soba noodle soups, and seasonal Japanese baked goods on Saturdays. The store-within-a-restaurant concept reflects Suzuki's passion for Japanese food culture and makes NomNom Kitchen a genuine piece of Tokyo in Munich.
