About
Opened in 2017 as the third London outpost of Nobu Matsuhisa's global restaurant brand, Nobu London Shoreditch occupies the basement of the bespoke Nobu Hotel Shoreditch on Willow Street, at the junction of the City and East London's creative district. The 240-seat restaurant — one of the largest Nobu dining rooms in the world — is led by Executive Chef Sandi Richmond, who brings experience from exclusive hotels and restaurants globally to deliver the brand's hallmark Nikkei menu. Following a 2022 relaunch after a pandemic closure, the restaurant now incorporates a sunken outdoor courtyard terrace and an expanded bar programme, and has developed into what Harden's calls 'some reporters' favourite Nobu' after a slow start. The weekend brunch with unlimited sushi and sashimi has become a strong draw in East London.
