Opened in November 2023 by Japan-born chef Manabu 'Hori' Horiuchi alongside partners Yun Cheng and Ryan Snyder, Katami quickly earned Houston Press Best Japanese Restaurant 2024 and Texas Monthly and Robb Report best new restaurant honors.
