Ushido was opened by Japanese entrepreneurs Yuki Sato and Yukie Shuto as Berlin's first yakiniku restaurant. The concept comes straight from Japan: tender cuts — Wagyu, Black Angus, beef tongue — are served raw and grilled by guests on their own tabletop grill in bite-sized pieces. The restaurant is located in the lively Helmholtzkiez in Prenzlauer Berg and also features a private dining area. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance.
