About
Benihana was founded in 1964 by Tokyo-born wrestler and entrepreneur Hiroaki 'Rocky' Aoki in New York, revolutionizing American dining with its teppanyaki show kitchen. Benihana is today part of Benihana Inc. and operates more than 70 locations worldwide, each carrying forward Rocky Aoki's original vision of an interactive, family-friendly dining experience.
