About
Operated by Japanese restaurateur Masami Wakabayashi's Zakkushi Group, Menya Raizo opened on West Broadway as a focused ramen concept that complements the group's yakitori offerings. The restaurant makes its noodles in-house and offers classic ramen styles in a compact, atmospheric setting evoking the retro Japanese noodle bars of Showa-era Tokyo. Director Hiroshi Yoshida, formerly of the legendary Kintaro Ramen, brought deep knowledge of Vancouver's ramen landscape to the concept. The new hours (daily 12pm–8pm) make it highly accessible for casual lunches and early dinners.
