About
Naoe first opened in 2009 in Sunny Isles Beach before relocating in 2012 to the island of Brickell Key, where chef-owner Kevin Cory offers up to five guests per evening a deeply personal omakase experience. Cory's family hails from Kanazawa, Japan — the house-made soy sauce and sake produced by his relatives at Nakamura Sake Brewery form the aromatic heart of every menu. Naoe is the only restaurant in Miami to hold both the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond designations, and it is listed as Recommended in the Michelin Guide Florida.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
  • Only 5 seats — Miami's highest level of exclusivity
  • Forbes Five-Star & AAA Five Diamond — Miami's most decorated restaurant
  • Family-produced shoyu and sake from Kanazawa — a pedigree unlike any other
  • Michelin Recommended since the Florida Guide's inaugural 2022 edition
