About
In February 2011, Haruhiko Saeki (Brickny Europe GmbH) opened the first Takumi München on Heßstraße as the second location of the Takumi brand, which was founded in Düsseldorf in 2007. The noodles are exclusively imported from Nishiyama Seimen in Sapporo — the same partnership that gives the restaurant its distinctive Sapporo character. Yoshihiko Yuki, a member of the team since 2012 and president of Takumi GmbH since 2015, co-leads the restaurant alongside founder Kenjiro Komatsubara, who brought his ramen expertise from Tokyo. The restaurant is defined by uncompromising authenticity: an open kitchen, no reservation system, and daily service.
