About
Kofuku opened as one of Mumbai's pioneering suburban Japanese restaurants and built a devoted following over a decade, particularly among the city's Japanese expatriate community. In December 2024 it relaunched as Tokki Tora ('Rabbit Tiger' in Japanese) under the same kitchen leadership of Chef James Biaka, who brings three decades of Japanese and Korean culinary experience to the menu. The traditional tatami-style seating, ramen, sushi and gyoza remain, alongside the authentic atmosphere that drew Japanese expats as a trusted home-away-from-home. Multiple outlets across Bandra, Andheri, Lower Parel and Powai extend the concept.
