About
Restaurant Nozy opened in 2015 as a personal expression of Hokkaido-born, Tokyo-trained chef Nozomu Takeuchi's philosophy of Japanese home cooking at its most honest and nourishing. The restaurant relocated to the lively La Petite-Patrie neighbourhood in 2025, where Takeuchi continues to serve teishoku-style meals — balanced sets of main dish, rice, soup, and sides — that reflect the seasonal rhythms and careful ingredient sourcing of authentic Japanese culinary tradition. The room is intimate and warm, with a neighbourhood feel that keeps a loyal clientele returning week after week.
