About
Ogawa opened in November 2023 in Miami's Little River neighborhood — the name means 'small river' in Japanese, a nod to the surrounding community. Chef Masayuki Komatsu, born in Osaka and long-time Culinary Director at Hiyakawa, presents a kappo-inspired omakase to eleven guests, built around ingredients flown in daily from Tokyo's Toyosu Market. Just four months after opening, Ogawa was awarded a Michelin star in April 2024, and has since been identified through Google rating analysis as the highest-rated Michelin restaurant in the entire United States.
