About
Taro Pimlico opened in December 2022 as the fifth London branch of the Japanese-owned Taro Restaurants group, founded by Mr. Taro who first came to London in 1979 with the ambition of popularising authentic Japanese cuisine. Housed in a converted bank building on Churton Street SW1V, it is a ten-minute walk from Victoria station and close to Tachbrook Street market. The menu mirrors the group's other branches: bento boxes, sushi, sashimi, ramen, gyudon and Japanese street food sides, delivered with the Japanese hospitality ethic Mr. Taro calls Taishū Shokudō. No Michelin recognition.
