About
Part of Haruhiko Saeki's Brickny Europe group — the Japanese force behind Takumi ramen — Tonkatsu Gonta applies the same commitment to ingredient quality to Japan's most beloved fried pork cutlet. The Duroc-Olive pig provides unusually sweet, well-marbled meat, breaded in coarse Japanese panko and fried in high-quality vegetable oil. A selection of authentic sauces (Tonkatsu, Miso, Ponzu, Remoulade) accompanies each plate. In the afternoon, the space becomes Café Gonta serving matcha sundaes and honey toast; in the evenings it transitions to Nomi Gonta Bar with Japanese-inspired cocktails and shochu.
