About
Dosanko traces its lineage to a Tokyo shop opened in 1961 by Tamotsu Aoike, who went on to found the DSK Group and popularise Sapporo-style miso ramen across Japan and internationally. The Paris branch on rue Sainte-Anne — the heart of the city's Japanese quarter — has operated for over a decade, serving the house's distinctive miso ramen enriched with butter and corn, alongside shio (salt) and shoyu (soy) variants. Staff are Japanese, and the operation retains the efficient, counter-oriented rhythm of a Tokyo ramen-ya. Gyoza made in-house and a compact selection of Japanese starters complete the menu.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
- Miso ramen enriched with butter is Dosanko's house signature — a Sapporo tradition rare in Paris.
- One of the longest-running Japanese-owned restaurants on rue Sainte-Anne, with a loyal local following since the 2010s.
- Among the best-value full ramen meals in the Japanese quarter, with bowls from €13.
Portions are large. The shio ramen with butter is particularly recommended. Closed Mondays.
