About
Kanada-Ya Ealing is situated within the Filmworks Walk dining destination in Ealing Broadway, a vibrant new quarter built around the restored 1930s Ealing Film Studios site. The branch brings founder Kazuhiro Kanada's 18-hour tonkotsu — developed in his hometown of Yukuhashi, Fukuoka, where he set up his first ramen bar in 2009 after retiring from professional cycling — to West London for the first time. The Ealing site has quickly gained a strong local following and positive TripAdvisor reviews for its warm service and the rich, silky broth quality that defines the brand. Kazuhiro Kanada operates all UK sites independently, maintaining the artisan ramen-bar standards established at the Covent Garden original in 2014.
Why it's on Washoku Guide
- West London's premier tonkotsu destination — Fukuoka-origin recipe, independent ownership
- Atmospheric Filmworks Walk setting in Ealing's regenerated cultural quarter
- Same 18-hour broth standard as the award-winning Covent Garden original
