About
Shoronpo takes its name from the Japanese pronunciation of the Shanghai soup dumpling, and the menu delivers on that promise with delicate, pork-filled parcels alongside Tanaka's deep tantanmen ramen. The space on Carrer del Dr. Rizal is small and unpretentious, reflecting the chef's focus on craft over décor. Tanaka reopened after the pandemic and has rebuilt a loyal following among Barcelona's Japanese food community. Booking in advance is strongly recommended.
