About
Founded in Tokyo's Shinbashi district in 2012 by a team combining ramen and yakitori expertise, Tokyo Ramen Takeichi built its reputation on a thick, creamy chicken-and-vegetable broth (tori paitan) that quickly attracted queues across Tokyo and later across Asia. The Düsseldorf Immermannstraße branch — the first German outpost of the brand — has become one of Little Tokyo's most visited ramen stops, operating daily with no reservations. The Bismarckstraße sister branch offers reservation options. The tori paitan broth is rich in collagen, with a clean, rounded flavour that differs distinctly from pork-based tonkotsu.
