Daikokuya Little Tokyo opened in 2002 and quickly became a neighborhood landmark for its rich pork bone broth and lantern-lit, alleyway atmosphere. Owner Takaaki Kohyama, who emigrated from Japan in 1988, built the Bishamon Group around this original location. The restaurant is known for late-night service and walk-in crowds.
