About
Iimori holds a unique place in Frankfurt's culinary landscape as one of the city's very first authentic Japanese restaurants. Founded by Japanese owner-chef Azko Iimori, who launched her original Westend location in 1993, the Altstadt restaurant offers an all-day experience spanning homemade tarts and cakes, specialty coffee, sushi, ramen and intimate multi-course Japanese dinners. The Sunday brunch sittings, which require advance reservation, have become a local institution. With over three decades of history, Iimori is widely credited with introducing Frankfurters to genuine Japanese food culture long before the city's current boom in Japanese dining.
