About
Takoyaki Teppachi occupies a narrow shopfront on Immermannstraße, dedicated exclusively to Japan's most iconic Osaka street snack: takoyaki. Octopus pieces are encased in a seasoned batter, cooked in a dimpled cast-iron pan to a crispy exterior with a molten interior, then finished with bonito flakes, Japanese mayonnaise and takoyaki sauce. Visit Düsseldorf praises it as 'entirely dedicated to takoyaki — freshly prepared in front of your eyes.' Rice balls (onigiri) complete the compact, authentically Japanese snack menu. The format is standing or take-away, true to the Japanese street-food tradition.
